welcome to the forum!  Well we can't help you with the medical side of your health we can give you support in your dieting efforts.  Losing weight is one of the hardest jobs there are!  It is a full time commentment to make lifestyle changes.  Afterall we did not get this way by eating right and exercising on a regular basis LOL.

But I need to ask is it safe for you to do a diet that is low calorie, low fat such as csd? Please check with your dr.  Other than that if all is full speed ahead---lets set a start date!  We all had to start somewhere, we all have had our ups and downs, cheats and no-cheat weeks, we have cursed and cheered.  So jump on board and welcome again

Re: Can anyone help me?

OK grammom time for the fun times!
Sunday it is, mentally prepare youself for battle LOL the soup actually tastes pretty good and eat as much as you can.

We want you to post as often as you can, let us kmow what is going on!  I will be going back on csd the 16th.  I too have never done a diet that works until last year when I did this during the spring and summer and lost 30lbs.  BUT...of course I went back to my old eating habits and learned a hard lesson.

Getting there is only 1/2 the battle, life changes have to take place.

So here you go! Sunday September 9th Grammom is going to be one of the offical csder's!

Re: Can anyone help me?

smiley-smile Hi grammom...I'd be a little worried about the fruit days ....fruit raises tryglicerides....and I believe fruit could interfere with your diabetes?  I would think you really need to ask your Dr. about this one....banana day would be ...well not good.  The other days you could just eat small amounts of fruit and stick to the soup mostly or veggies if allowed...If you do this diet...keep check of your blood sugar...as it may be affected.........a diet without all those starchy carbs can't be all that bad....we are eating alot of complex carbs...and those are the right kinds!  Also realize that this is not a diet as others might be , that you can stay on week after week....at least that's what  they say..........
