
Hey there!!! I am a newbie and had a question. I copied the 7 day cabbage diet plan but how much of the food each day do you eat?? Do you eat until your full??? And do you only eat the food listed for that day?? How much of the soup do you eat each day?? What happens after day 7??? What next?? Thanks a bunch gang!!

Just eat only what the 7 day plan says and eat as much as you want. I ate until I was full but didn't stuff myself. Try to eat the soup as much as possible. You'll probably eat less on meat days though.
After day 7 just try to eat healthy. Stick to lean meats, veggies, fruits and healthy carbs. I eat healthy but still allow myself treats like low-fat, no sugar desserts or even those 100 cal packs. Don't go back to eating unhealthy but still allow yourself a cheat day once in awhile. Also exercise goes hand in hand with losing weight... try to do as much as possible.

Hi brunette gal and kinkster06....just want to welcome you both to the forum...I just finished my 7th day yesterday...and I went on to the 3DD (three day diet) today. I recommend that you do some reading of posts, as alot of info can to be found on them. I have spent hours reading them and that's where I have obtained most of my knowledge....................Good luck to both of you!

I was suppose to start a couple days ago, but i decided to wait and start on Monday the 17th with my mother-in-law. so today is the end of Tuesday, I'm hanging in there. i want some chocolate or something. but im doing good. Start day 3 tomorrow. Wish me luck!!!!

Hi kinkster06...the 3DD is the 3 day diet...there is a website I will give you to see what it is...also there are a few other websites that talk about the diet...just search for 3DD and the sites will pop up for you. The one I have posted on here before is.............. http;//www.everydiet.org/3_day_diet.htm The only thing not mentioned on this site is that one should drink 4 glasses of water or 4 diet sodas a day....I prefer water....I think it's healthier.........WELCOME AND GOOD LUCK TO YOU..................

TIP FOR REDUCING GASINESS IN THE CABBAGE SOUP!
Man, I just started this diet today and HOLY CRAP!!!! I am so bloated and gassy and almost didn't make it to the bathroom at work!!
I talked to my mom who did this diet years ago and she said to put 2 Tblsp. of vinegar in the soup. This apparently cuts the gas in half or more. Moms are so great!
I am going to try the soup this way tomorrow and see if it doesn't make a difference. I will let you know.
I have been peeing all day too. I cheated tonight and had 10 cheese puffs. I am going to start back at the treadmill tomorrow.

Welcome to the forum! The peeing you are experiencing is a good thing, it's all the excess water being flushed from your system and will continue for the first few days.
The gas you are getting happens to some people. I find it helps if you liquidise your soup instead of having it lumpy with veggies. I actually prefer it this way. Also try making the soup next time with chinese cabbage, i prefer this as it doesn't pong like normal cabbage.
If your body doesn't agree with cabbage at all then try this recipe, it does exactly the same as the cabbage soup, it's the cabbage soup without the cabbage:
2 cans stewed tomatoes
3 large green onions
1 large can of beef broth(without fat) or just a stock cube
1 pkt of mixed veg soup (or even chicken soup) just check sodium and fat content
1 bunch celery
2 cans of greenbeans
2lbs carrots
2 large green peppers
I have forgotten the name of this soup but on the internet it states that it does exactly the same as the cabbage soup diet and the diet is identical for both soups
