Hello All,
I had to share my amazing results. Last Wednesday (8 days ago) I weighed in at 173 lbs and as of today, Day 5 of the CSD I'm at 161. Now in the interest of total disclosure let me state that I worked out 6 out of 8 days - 30 minutes cardio and 30min weights, I also rode my bike once for 10 miles.
I hope this is not TMI (too much info) but I wanted to encourage all of you gals (and guys) out there. This works if you work it!!
As you can see my user name is Aruba. That's because my husband and I are celebrating our 1 year anniversary with a trip to Aruba at the end of this month. That is my motivation. Find yours and let it guide your heart, body, soul and APPETITE!
Peace and blessings!!!
Aruba (as in Aruba here I come, can you say string bikini??? :-)

Great Job Aruba! sounds like you have you trip all planned and ready to go!
I started at 173 the first of Aug and it has taken me this long to get to 160. I did the csd twice and the rest of the time sb phase 1. But then I did not work out LOL

Hi Nancy,
Gongrats on your weight loss. It is actually lost in a very healthy way. If I'm correct it looks like you are losing just under 2lbs a week. No one can complain about that! It is a nice constant loss and 2lbs is the maximum one should lose per week otherwise you lose muscle as well. ( By the way this doesn't include the 7 day detox of the CSD. A detox diet is always good for the system. I think we should all do one once a month it would keep our system in rearing to go mode) The CSD is what got me going on losing my weight.
I have just started my diet, or in other words changed way of eating since last week. I have to lose 80lbs over all, but my first goal is 20lbs. Once i acheive that then I will worry abouth the next 20lbs. I am actually using the Cabbage soup as my mid day snacks and this takes all my hunger pangs away I find and then I don't crave anything else. If anything im permanently full and can stick to my eating plan which at the moment is only veggies fruit and protein.
I put on 80lbs over the last 3 years. That is so scary! And only 14lbs is due to quitting smoking, so I can't blame that as my excuse. In case your'e wondering I'm 202lbs and used to be a nice 120lbs. My height is 5.6.
Just remember keep going and I would happily want to lose the way you are and congrats again on what youv'e already lost.

Hi guys, Congratulations to all of you. I was sick and still kinda am. I was supposed to be fasting, but couldn't because I had a bad cough and a sore throat so I had to take anti-biotics for 10 days. Yesterday was the last day and I'm just coughing a bit now, but I've started my fast. We'll see how I do, I'm not only doing this to lose weight but it's just a good thing to do for us to realize what poor people are going through and to give to charity. Anyways congratulations once again to all of you. Keep up the good work.

Hi LD...sometimes it's best not to weigh yourself until you have finished out the 7 days. That way you won't get discourged and maybe even drop out of the diet. I waited till the 7th day was over and to my suprise...lost 8#. Now, depending on your original weight, if one is quite heavy and has a lot of weight to lose, it is not uncommon to lose well over 10#. but if you have very little to lose, you don't hold as much water and you won't lose like that. It is mostly water that you lose the first time and the bloatedness that one carries when overweight. Getting rid of the bloatedness is a good feeling, and makes you want to keep at it because you feel so much better. Just hang in :)there... and I'm sure if you are following the plan...you will see results after the 7th day...of course...depending on the water retention you have.

I am also a new cabbage souper. Starting next week, but I've already been reading the comments just as an incentive. Sounds like everyone is doing well.

Hello LD...actually on banana day, the way I understand it...as far as the quantity of bananas, I believe it is UP TO 8 bananas. I myself used 6 medium ones...but it's not a rule that you HAVE to eat 8 of them. You seem to be doing just fine...and good luck to you!
