Re: a buddy needed

I think it's a load of crock. By the thought of eating macdonalds and still being on a diet is quite pleasing. Did you see the one meal, I think of the second day, is just "ham" for dinner. That must be horrible. However the concept is sound. The breaking down and blocking of carbs, protiens, etc is quite right. We're doing that now, but we don't realize it. I would love to know if anyone loses anything actually from the lazy zone diet.

There aren't many diets these days that I look at and think: Oh, I have to do that one. They all have one thing or another I don't like. Actually they all have fish and I hate fish.  The 3DD was the best diet for me because of what you eat and because I could substitute that horrid amount of tuna. I'm thinking when I do it again, I'll just sub the tuna for the veg burgers/nuggets.  smiley-sleep

Re: a buddy needed

I know what you mean,Fish, *ugh* I have tried so many diets, but not lately because I got discouraged by not losing much weight. I have even paid thru the nose for diets like LA weight loss. My problem is I can't stay on one diet very long, thats why I think this one will do the trick to start. If I can bounce eatting plans that are short term, and I can stomach or modify the food on the plan, then I'm good! The 3DD I really liked the breakfasts, and with good tips from you, I think thats next. The berries with a touch of splenda were good a few minutes ago!!smiley-biggrin

Re: a buddy needed

There was not one breakfast on the 3DD that I did not like. I mean how can you not resist starting your day off with a peanut butter on toast and ahhhh smiley-wub it's so so so good! I have done a lot of research into the SB diet which I am definitely going to try.l Quite excited for the next three days.

You coping?

Re: a buddy needed

hey tharley and husky,
hows the diet going?
yest, i had lots of soup + melon ...6 more days to go ..hopefully we ll be able to do it .
As  far as exercise goes..i just walk on the treadmill for 25 mins( twice or thrice a day)..coz i cant do 60 mins walk at a stretch ...im 154 lbs n 5 feet 7 inches tall...im really looking forward to losing 25lbs atleast...theres one woollen dress that i ve my eyes on ..so if i do end up losing the weight il reward myself with that dress:)
THarley , im going to western caribbean in dec ..i really want to lose all this weight before the cruise smiley-smile

Husky, ihave tried the atkins diet ..which is almost like the sbd except that its a more 'stricter' form of sb diet ..i did lose a lot of weight on it ..but its tough to completely eliminate fruits from your diet ...that way i think sbd is more 'doable'

Re: a buddy needed

hey goingonacruise  good luck and it sounds like you are off to a great start.  and the dress sounds great!  wel actually the cruise sounds better LOL

I do the sbd inbetween csd and it seems to work for me and you are right the atkins diet is much stricter and I also find the sbd much easier to stick too.  I do miss the fruit but since I rotate I know that the fruit days will be there.

Re: a buddy needed

Hello all. Lately my food has been extremely out of control mainly sugar, chocolate (the good stuff) and I am so sick of eating out of boredom! I am looking for a way to quickly stop this binge eating and I think I have found the perfect solution - CSD! I am going to go to Publix tonight and get the ingredients needed and start the diet this week. It looks like everyone is a big support on this site so I look forward to posting more. smiley-smile

I will have eatten 7 bananas and 3 glasses light soy milk with 2 or 3 bowls of soup by the end of the day. I cheated a tiny by adding a few drops of honey to the last shake I made.smiley-angel Hopefully that won't throw anything off too bad!! I had lost another 1/2 lb as of this morning. Re: a buddy needed

Hi Husky,

hope you feel better. I hate getting sick especially when I'm trying to loose weight. A week before I started the CSD I was so sick. I layed in bed for 2 days. I was actually hoping that I was loosing weight while I was doing this because I hardly ate anything. Unfortunately i didn't. That's how I ended up going on the CSD as soon as I got better.

Hope you feel better!

Re: a buddy needed

Hi xaikey, how are you? How much are you planning on losing? I'm actually done doing the csd. I'm giving myself a break and I'm planning on doing it again maybe after 2 weeks. I lost some weight but I would like to loose more. Wow Feb. that's great..i think you have enough time.

I noticed that if a person who is dieting works out as well the results are faster. I'm really going to try and workout more.

Post your progress so we can all help each other!
