I am starting the CSD tomorrow 27-9 and am slightly unsure and nervous about it. Would love to have a "diet buddy" throughout this diet. Anyone up for the challenge? I have recently come off the three day diet (total duration 3 weeks) and instead of going back on it (I was becomming a little discouraged by it) I decided, after much thought, to go on the CSD. I have been entered into a "Summer Body Competition" which is scheduled to end on the 2nd of November. This is my fourth week in the competition. I have just over a month to lose a further 10 or so kilograms. I would love it, if I had a buddy to help me along as staying on diets is not always the most pleasurable of things.
Let me know if you're up for it. You can reply here or direct email at ifiwasntwrongwereyou@hotmail.com
Thanks!

Hi, I've also started the CSD diet yesterday. and It went well. I have 3 children and I have to cook for them so its kinda tempting to eat other foods. But I was determined to not to give up. Anyhow I'm looking to loose 10kg by december. Hopefully I could do it. We'll see what happens.

Hey Alone you will do great! I know it is hard to cook for others when your food is very limited but it can be done...keep a container of cut up veggies near you at all times and when you want to nibble you have a handy legal snack so you are less tempted to eat the "forbidden" food these 7 days

You are great Nancy. I think i'll be able to do this with your support and quick response. I'm not going to give up so quickly. I'm determined to go through the 7 days and see the results. Actually 5 more days:biggrin:

Hey alone in the diet zone! Oh it's so wonderful to have someone who has started on the same day as me.
I'm nearing the end of day 2. Have my potato cooking downstairs and I won't lie... I AM LOOKING SO FORWARD TO IT...Today has been tough for me, wasn't sure about the whole vegetable thing today, so I nibbled on several vegetables and then had a huge bowl of soup for lunch.
Slightly depressing to do so though. Had just come back from the supermarket where everything and I mean EVERYTHING looked so damn good. From the pies, to the subs, to the desserts. I had to leave, I coulnd't take the tempation. Pretty proud though, that I didn't break.
Feeling really hungry, so I have prepared a huge stack of veg (carrots, cauliflower, broccoli) to eat along with my potato and then later on when I am still hungry I'll have some more soup. Strangely enough these days are flying by for me. Been watching my weight all day and by the looks of it I'm another 1,5/2 lbs down, so I guess that's good.
Seeing as I cook dinner most nights, I'm cooking my own food. But I find that when I cook other's food, I'm often tempted to just eat their food...fried foods, mashed potatoes, it all smells and looks so good. But just like you (alone in the diet zone) I'm determined to do this and see and know at the end of the day that I did my best.
Nancy_mrn: I hope your day today has not been as stressful as the last and that your weekend is in the least slightly relaxing. Do you know whether or not one could take a "diet pill" during this fast. Something to make your metabolism go faster?
Keep WELL!

Hey Huskey, Tell me about it. oooohhhhhhh it's so tempting. Can't have fruits today so even the fruits looks good today. I've cooked some Cawliflower and carrot and ate that. Other then that its been soup and water. I gotta get to the suppermarket and i dont want to. I'm soooooo looking forward to the potatoe. But we should give our self a pat on the back for sticking to it. I'm dreading the weekend. That's when everything kinda gets screwed up. One good thing is that my husband is not home for the weekend so that should help. Anyhow I'm determined to sticked to it and hope you will be with me till wednesday.

Oh I'll be here till Thursday, have no doubt about it. It's nice having someone to partner along with. I have just been so fedup with my weight lately that it has pushed me to be almost manic about losing the weight. Today grocery shopping was urgggh. But I'm glad I went and that I showed myself that I can stay strong. My weight is also dropping off nicely and hopefully I will have lost 4/5 k.g.s by the end of this and quite frankly, anything else will be an absolute bonus. How much are you wanting to lose?

I'm going to keep my self occupied with house work so i dont think of food. since there is not much options. Good luck.

Hey alone in the diet zone.
I'm of the opinion you only drop weight after two days. Or at least that's how my body has been changing and dropping. Enjoying today. It's the first day that I have hit lunch time and have not "craved" for anything major. I managed to sit through lunch watching people eat fatty and greasy, delicious looking foods and didn't batter an eyelid. After all tomorrow is meat day and so is the next and after that it's just one more day! JUST ONE MORE DAY! So proud that we have managed to hang on. Usually after three days I lose complete interest. But seeing the weight loss now it's a good thing and has been mildly worth. I guess we better work hard to keep it off too.
We still doing SB straight after?
