Kelly< Sorry I have not returned! Results not good! Major fail. Put it this way, I started way too early for my body again. I felt I would starve! That is not me. So, I am taking a break from this plan and going on a strict exersize and balanced diet. I don't think that a person can keep up with this diet, let alone keep the weight off. Our bodies are meant to take in a certain amount of fat-carb-pro, with exersize. I cannot keep up with this. I just want to be healthy, and yes look good. Best of luck to you all! I appreciate all the support!

Hey 10ToGo, Just remember it doesn't matter what you do, just that you do something. There are so many ways to lose weight, what's important is being healthy. I think it's great that your going to do the exercise and balanced diet, I mean that's where we all need to get, we all have to get to the point of maintaining our weight level and it still will require continued exercise and eating right. Stay healthy, ok!!! Good luck with everything.

Hi everyone i'm a few days late but i'm back! My last day was Saturday April 21st - however i couldn't stay on track (Saturday only the last day) with the soup because we were on a 3 hours trip to another city - however i stuck it out and didn't eat anything but salad - I'm glad to report that i've lost a total of 6 lbs. - the last few days (off of the diet now) have been pretty easy staying with just fruits and veggies - I will start again next Sunday with CSD- It's seemed to good to be true for the total of 10-15 lbs supposenly weight loss - but it seems like everyone who has posted their total weight lost has averaged 6-8 lbs - that seems to be more realistic - my co-worker also lost 6 lbs- and we are different in weight i weigh over 80 lbs more than her and were about 6 years difference in age me being younger.
Barb keep up the good work!
10to go stay encouraged - CSD isn't for everyone- actually I'm not suppose to be on it because of my condition (Hypothyroid - slow metabolism) but i feel great on it so i see no harm-
angellicdelight - thanks for your postings how were your results?
I'll be staying in touch for support and also reporting on and off on my low calories eating weeks!
I'll be back on CSD soon! Hit me again I'm ready - I'll be a pro soon!

hiya everyone!!
Hope you ar all ok!!
10togo - great to hear from you again!! I wouldn't worry about not completing the 7 days - the important thing is that your head is in the right place & you are looking at a long term commitment to a healthy lifestyle, which is definitely the way forward - I definitely needed the last 7 days to kick start me into the whole healthy eating lifestyle - yes, it was a bit of a shock to the system, my body might have been telling me to stop - (the headache I had in the first 2 days were quite bad as I don't normally get them!) but I did feel fine when they went away - if your body was continuing to tell you 'enough is enough' then you did the right thing in stopping it!! Plus, as you did manage quite a few days on the diet, I'm sure it did you some good too!!!
Momluvsthree - hiya hun!!!! Well done, what a great result & you really have a willpower of steel going on a long journey & still managing to only have salad, I was at home & day 7 was a bit of a struggle - with not having meat or fruit - I had the soup here & ingredients to make some more (I was running low) but I just didn't want it!! So well done you!!!!
I do want to do the CSD again, not exactly sure what date, probably in a couple of weeks twards the beginning of May!
I also lost a total of 6lb - & was really pleased with that!!!
in 7 days that is such a lot to lose - I never expected I would lose the 10-15lb that has been mentioned, as like you momluvsthree I'd seen that most people tend to lose between 4-8lb so I was really pleased!!!!
Also, not sure if you saw my post on another page, but I had a great experience a few days ago, when I got round to reading the instructions for my scales (bought the cheapest from the shop cost £2.99, think thats about $6, so they are the dial type & not electronic) I read that I needed to weigh myself on a flat hard floor & not on carpet - I had weighed myself in the bathroom on carpet, I weighed myself again on the carpet & then took the scales in the kitchen with the wooden floor & I was actually 12lb lighter than I had thought anyway - so I was extremely pleased!!!
Anyway, great to hear from you all, I hope more of you also post your final results, even if you didn't quite reach day 7, would be good to hear if you lost weight anyway!!!!
Speak soon, I will still be logging on the boards & am actually looking forward to round 2 of the CSD in May (am I mad??!!!) Lets banish those pounds girls!!!!!

Angellicdelight good to hear from you! Well we did it either way you look at it! It was actullay my 2nd time doing the CSD. I did it about 10 years ago but didn't stick to it- I didn't have much weight to loose then - so I wasn't really desperate like i am now! That's the difference you have to have "stickability"!
I also almost didn't think finish again after the 2nd day because of the horrible headaches! But again, the difference was determination! After day 2 it was a little better- also fruit and veggie day was all about living in the bathroom! I have 1 hour commute from work and it was hard making it home that day!
I also will be starting again maybe a few days before you like either this Sunday April 29th or Monday the 30th -
I will continue to read and post!
Take care! And hope to hear from all the OG Sunday group!

Hi Lauralena - you'll get plenty of support on this site - keep in touch and share your thoughts! Most of us have been through similar situations and above all we all needed motivation!
Keep focused on your goal and remember after the 2nd or 3rd day it get's a little easier-read some of the recipe post for a variety of ways to make the soup- I went and bought some Shrimp boullion and will use that for my next 7 day adventure along with other tips and recipes. This CSD doesn't have to be boring!
Stay in touch and hang in there!

You girls are AWESOME!!!! I wish that I had some continued support...but, I guess that I can check back with ya now and again!
I feel great! I am so happy that I stopped, I think that I can do it again, just need a loooooong break.
So, I have probably.......9 lbs to my desired weight of 125lbs. not too bad, but I could actually afford to lose 5 more than that. But, I am going to try. I made a promise that I would walk 30 minutes a day to start. I kept it, and started today. Oregon is extremely rainy, it can last through June. So, hopefully I can stick to it. My weight has never really been an issue, so this sucks:(
Congrats on all of your weight loss, 6 lbs is great!!! Don't get discouraged when a couple more come back, just water!
Kelly- that scale story is too funny! I bought a scale a while back that measures you BMI, it is glass, and chipped a couple places, so I am unsure how accurate it is. Oh and what is your username on ebay? I want to check your stuff out!

10togo can you swim? have you a pool near you or a mate with one? Only swimming is excellent for all over toning and exercise generally and it doesn't matter if it's raining! You can build up how far you swim as the days go by. Just a thought! How about trying the diet with a little protein every day grilled fish or meat instead of the heavy protein on this diet on days 5 and 6, it's just that it might be worth you using the diet but adapting it so that you can handle it I'm sure that would help to make you feel healthier on it. Maybe the weight loss would be slower but suit you better. I'm just trying to help you with your dilemma!

Yes, thank you Sally! I will have to try and find a suitable place. SURPRISE, most are outside! Makes you wonder, HUH? Well, a few great ones are open during the summer. Nothing better than to spend an afternoon with your little one!
Oh, and I love swimming, you can call me fish!

I love swimming too. In fact we are in the process of moving from England to Wales where I bet it rains even more!!! Houses are a lot lot cheaper there so we are able to reduce our mortgage and afford one with an indoor swimming pool and gym.
The reason we are doing this is that I need to give up teaching as I am going deaf [some may say that's a good thing with my job lol!] making my job almost impossibe even with hearing aids.
Our kids who are 17 and 18 have both left school and will be making their own ways and in fact the oldest one has gone already! [make the most of your little one as time flies and before you know it they are grown up!]
I will be able to do bed and breakfast [I'll need to learn how to cook first unless I go continental lol!] and I can maybe teach swimming in the pool as a way of making an income.
I intend to swim and work out every day then, eat healthily and hopefully not have the need to ever diet again!!!

Hi everyone!!!
Good to see your all still busy posting!!!
Laurelena - good luck with the diet - think you are best to set yourself little targets & break it down, otherwise if you keep thinking '30lb' it can seem a bit overwhelming - I was wanting to lose a total of 25lb (I lost 6 on this diet that I finished at the weekend) so I now need to lose 19lb - I have broken that down to concentrate on losing the next 6lb - once I get there I'm gonna treat myself to something, maybe my hair done, or a facial or something new to wear! Then I will concentrate on losing another 6lb & so on til I meet my goal, I think it's easier to stay motivated if you try to deal with your loss in little chunks, otherwise it can seem like an unachievable goal!
good luck to you georgiapeach!! Stay motivated!!!!
10to go - hya hun!!
Well I am really impressed by your motivation to do the exercise, it is really difficult to force yourself to do it everyday, especially if the weather is c**p & you have lots of things to do - it's often hard to fit it in, so well done & keep up the good work!!!
My ebay user id is enmoda-boutique, you can click on advanced search on ebay & then 'search by username' and put that in, or you can search for my ebay shop name which is ENMODA (you need to search in the shop section find me & remember to tick the box to 'search for shop name'. If you are struggling here is an item number for one of my items, just put the number in the search box on the top right of the page - 170102137997. You can then click on my shop on that page to view my items!! I usually do have lots more listed, usually a few hundred, but with getting the house ready for sale I have been a little side tracked!!! But I do have some lovely dresses & corsets etc available - you'll have to add me to your favorites list!!!!
Let me know your ebay id too 10togo, so I can have a look when your selling some stuff!!!
Sally22 - wow! A house with an indoor pool, that sounds fantastic, would love to have one of those!!!! We live in Beverley, East Yorkshire & our house sits on a beck which has lots of lovely duckies swimming on, but I won't be swimming in their anytime soon!!!!!!
Anyway, speak to you all soon!!

You are so lucky sally!!!! I have a small creek in the back that I can swim in LOL!!! to bad it has an oil slick over it!
Well, right now I am eating my healthy breakfast. My son is still sleeping, but when he gets up and eats, we will go for a walk.
Kelly, My user name is ka79rt, I know, real original! I don't have anything for sale right now, it is usually random stuff when I do. I am a jewelry artist, and thought that maybe I would post some things there. If you want to look at my custom work you can go to http://www.thebeadedwedding.com/, I am still working on my site, but eventually I will get there! It is so hard with a 2.5 year old. I can't seem to get anything finished, well let alone started:)
oh, and I will definitely add you as a favorite!
Off to eat some more yogurt!

Gosh ebay yes I did a lot of that but the post office here seems to break everything that is what you buy and what you post!!! It drove me mad all the time emailing, parcelling up posting then claiming when things got broken [about 1 in 4 items], I used to get in such a pickle with it all. I now have a huge cupboard full of stuff to sell but I bet I end up taking it all to the charity shop when I move lol! Selling some items that went really well though, I did used to get a buzz, especially when I thought that what I was selling was actually junk lol! I'm called barnaby989 in the UK but now I just tend to buy!!!
Angellicdelight I love Yorkshire it's beautiful, I spent last Christmas there as my sister-in-law lives there and I hope I'm going to like Wales. It is a big move but I think it will be OK my husband works all over the country so where we live is not important and it seems that the houseprices in Wales are way behind England. I live on the south coast at the moment but I come from London so I know the weather will not be as good there. I am also a little worried that they will all speak in Welsh and it is such a hard language to learn!
Still we are going to give it a whirl!
I'm just finishing day 1 by the way [I thought I'd better mention the diet in my rambles lol!]
