4th May start! - (Round 2 for 16th April CSD'ers!!)

Hiya everyone!!!

Hope you are all ok!

Myself & Barb are commencing with a second stint of the CSD on Friday 4th May!!

We started our first week on 16th April & managed it successfully, so now it's time for round two!!!!

The first week was hard at times, but we have a theory that starting on a Friday might be easier (!!!) .... last time we started on a Monday & by the weekend I was craving all the 'naughty things'  that a weekend normally brings for me - alcohol, chocolate & other naughty food!!! So I am thinking that this time as we are starting on a Friday the weekend will pass a little easier as we are only in our first few days, the soup will still taste ok & our willpower will be extremely high!!! smiley-biggrin

So, we're putting the theory to the test!! .... anyone that want's to join in is absolutely more than welcome, or even if you are starting later than this, please post a message to let us know how you're doing & to give us some morale support!!!!!

Hope to also hear from some of you '16th April gang', would be great to hear how things are going with you guys!!!

I lost 6lb last time, but as my overall target of weight loss was 25lb I still have some way to go! - however I am forever the optimist & think with a few stints of the CSD & some fairly healthy eating in between that I can do it & maintain it!! smiley-biggrin

I've got my fruit & veggies at the ready & am going to make my soup tonight so it's ready for the morning - here's hoping for a successful week!!!! smiley-clapping

Speak soon!

Re: 4th May start! - (Round 2 for 16th April CSD'ers!!)

Ok, movies over.  It was Night at the Museum, pretty cute show.  Clean that my kids could watch it also.

Anyways, how have you been doing?  Hope you had a good visit with your boyfriend/husband???  How is your house coming along.  Cleaning getting all done?  I actually did some deep cleaning today.  Feels good to have a cleaner house.

Now about the diet...have you kept all your 6 lbs. off?  I sure hope so.  I'm starting 1 lb. heavier.  I know it seems pretty good, but I've been on this meat diet for about 3 days now, I can't stand it.  I'm SO sick of meat, I never want to eat a piece of chicken again.  It's so boring.  Here's the thing...I gain weight super easy.  I lost 4 pounds when we originally did the CSD and I put back on 3, so I did this meat thing and have taken off the 3, but it kills me that I put the 3 back on in this short of time.  I wouldn't mind so much with putting a pound or two back on as long as I was more under my goal.  My original weight goal was 120, which I got to when we first did the CSD, but then I realized, oh, I guess I need to lose a few more, because things that I thought would fit didn't.  I don't mean to sound like a finatic, but I'm almost thinking if I could get to 117 then I could go up 1 or 2 pounds and not fear getting into the mid 120's.  Do you know what I mean?  I'm only 5'1 in height, so I don't think my expectations are unrealistic or unhealthy.

I haven't seen posts from some of the regulars that did it last time.  I wonder how they are doing.  I'm glad so many people have success with this.  I think what I find the hardest is coming off of these things and trying to find the right way of eating to maintain an existing weight.  There are so many times that different events come up or a oh, this sounds really good....hence weight gain.  It justs seems if I eat anywhere near a "normal" menu I gain a pound, well, do that a few days in a row and I've just put on what I've worked so hard at to keep off.  I definately struggle with this.

Anyways, I've rambled on enough, so on to Day 1.  I think that I'm going to bathe in fruit tomorrow, ha ha!!!  I've missed it.  I'm going to have to be careful to not go overboard on it.

Hope your day starts out good.  I think it will help starting on Friday.  I wish you the best of luck with our 2nd endeavor,  weigh loss here we come.

Take care,  talk soon.

Barb

Who's joining us....hope to hear from you all soon.

Re: 4th May start! - (Round 2 for 16th April CSD'ers!!)

Hiya Barb!!

Hope your first day is going well!! I've overdosed on fruit & have yet to have soup, so gonna have a large bowl for tea & one later on too!!

It's just a quickie really cos I am due to pick my daughter up from school but I just wanted to check in to say hi! with you!

Glad the movie was good - I want to watch that one too, as myself & Jason went to New York in February & visited the museum, so it will be good to see it in the film too!!

I'll check back in later for more of a gossip on diet stuff, so take care & speak soon!

Hey Kerry,

Sounds like you're getting off to a great start.  I'm eating an apple as I type this.  We're going to really have to keep in touch this time, for some reason I feel like this time it's really going to be a challenge.  Probably because I know what's in store.  Anyways, let me know how your day is going and I'll post again later.

Talk soon.

Re: 4th May start! - (Round 2 for 16th April CSD'ers!!)

Hiya Barb!!

Looks like it's just you n me starting today, I agree we'll have to post more than ever to keep each other motivated this week smiley-biggrin

So, have you been enjoying your fruit?!! I bet you've enjoyed it more than I have as you've been without it for the last few days with your 'meat diet'!!

I've not eaten as much soup as I planned to - I think it's because I've completely overdosed on fruit, knowing how much I missed it on some days of the diet, so I'm making the most of it today - I must make a mental note to eat more soup tomorrow!!!!!

My soup tasted a lot nicer than my last lot - I 'dry fried' the onions, peppers, mushrooms with some garlic then added half a tin of tomatoes, the celery & carrots & then added some piri piri spice to it, I then added another half a tin of tomatoes & a bit of water & let it simmer for a while. I cooked the cabbage seperately with some vegetable stock & then added them both together - it tasted lovely, the piri piri definitely spiced it up!!

I got on the scales this morning & I was shoked to see that I am exactly the same as I was at the end of the last 7 days, so yes, I have managed to keep it off smiley-clapping which was an absolute shock to me as I really haven't been as healthy as I had intended to be after our last 7 days, so haven't got a clue how that happened, but I'm not complaining!!!

I think you have done really well to be only one pound difference from the end of the last 7 day stint ... you said you seem to gain pounds easily, so your willpower has been amazing in the time off the CSD & you have stayed on track - it is easy to treat yourself to lots of naughty things after the 7 days are finished, but you have maintained the healthy eating & mixed things up eating different healthy things, & the meat thing has definitely worked for you (although sounds tough but 3 days every now and again is worth it for the loss!!) so by doing all this you have managed to keep those pounds at bay, I am so impressed with your willpower girl!!

Plus, as we have always said, because you are so close to your ideal weight, it is harder to shed & keep off those last few pounds.

I am hoping that the CSD is something I can continue to do in the future every once in a while once I get to my target weight, as a detox for my body & to help maintain my weight, but I know that I will only get there by commiting myself to a full time healthy eating regime & lots of exercise (& willpower!!!) You definitely seem more committed to the permanent healthy way of eating, so I just need to catch you up & get my head (& stomach!) round it too!!

My weight as of this morning is 126lb - I would like to get to 112lb - I too am 5ft 1" (well ever so slightly over that!) so I do feel like my target is realistic (I actually weighed 108lb for quite a while & felt at my best then, however I've not been that weight for a few years now, so don't think I'll see that weight again!!) I would be over the moon to get to, or close to 112lb - I still have my fabulous white diesel jeans shouting at me to wear them, so that is my motivation ... I can get them on & fasten them ok, but the overhang at the top of my jeans is not attractive & my they are a little too tight on my thighs!!!! I am determined to get there!!!!

So are you doing a lot of exercise?! I definitely need to do some more & am going to try to fit more in this week, I definitely need to tone up - I'm trying to get back into doing sit ups - I did 50 earlier & am going to do another 50 before I go to bed - going to build it up to more if I have the energy & am not aching too much!!  Of course the house cleaning will help, things are coming on slowly but I am aiming to do more painting this weekend - ceilings & skirting boards - ugh, how boring is that!!!!

I'm also going to try to walk more rather than jumping in the car all the time! Also I have a friend who used to be my rollerblading buddy who has just returned home from travelling, we used to go out roller blading all the time (although sometimes was not too healthy ... we used to do a route where we got to know which bars would let us in with our blades on & then end up on a pub crawl then ended up at the local curry house for a meal to round the night off - really not a good move but hey, just think of how much weight we would have gained if we hadn't have been rollerblading in between bars!!!) so she has promised we are going to go rollerblading this week, obviously away from any bars that may distract us!!!!!!

I have to admit that I also took up pole dancing lessons last year! - not to start a new career or anything (!), but purely for the fitness!!! ... it really is the best form of exercise I have ever done, I love doing it!! my best friend & I book a private lesson with the instructor so we are not embarrassing ourselves in front of anyone else - we actually spend half the time laughing at each other (as we are not that good!) but for days afterwards we ache - it's a fab workout! I've not managed to get there as often in the last few months & am wondering whether to book a session this week or to give it a miss whilst on the CSD - might help to shed a bit more weight though!!!!!

Anyway, time is getting late, so I will sign off & go and raid the fridge for some strawberries before veggie day tomorrow - I know I am really going to crave fruit tomorrow - I just have to remember to look forward to that potato - & I think I am going to opt for your fab idea of a little potato at breakfast with onions & mushrooms as I really was stuck for breakfast on day 2 last time ... thanks for the inspiration!! smiley-biggrin

Speak to you tomorrow & hi to everyone else, any of our previous buddies, do post soon - it will be great to hear what you are up to!!

Re: 4th May start! - (Round 2 for 16th April CSD'ers!!)

Hey Kerry (and everyone reading our posts),

Well, today is definately going to be hard for me, it was last time also.  I'm just not a big veggie eater.

You are doing great girl.  To start off at your ending weight from last time is super.  That's so cool that we are both the same height.  You're getting there, so keep up the good work.  Sometimes we just have to reassess our goals a little at time.  Like I thought I'd be happy with 120, but now that I'm here (as of this morning I'm back to what I weighed at the end of the 1st CSD, yeah!!!), I realize I should lose a few more.  Plus after having kids it really reshapes your body, so things that fit prekids still feel a little snug, ya know!!!  I'm all too familiar with the overhang, have you heard the saying "muffin top"??  Just keep up your good work and you'll be wearing those white jeans in no time.  I don't think I've weighed 108 since high school.  I bet you did feel really healthy at that time.  It will be so exciting to see the scale move below the 120 mark!!!  We can do it Kerry!!!!

I'm glad your soup turned out good this time.  That will make a hugh difference I'm sure.  It's nice to try new spices and things, I've never heard of Piri Piri, but I'm glad it worked.

I think this works as a good detox also, I've also done actual cleanses that you buy from a health food store.  I think they are definately something to include in maintenance of healthy eating.  I do agree that there are certain foods that can detox.  I actually lost 8 pounds from a cleanse that a friend gave me, it was easily digestable foods, no dairy,no wheat.  It was a great way of eating, but rather expensive because you could eat goat cheese, brown rice products, glueten free things, etc.,  so I had to buy a lot at a whole foods store and that gets very expensive.  It was wonderful though because that is what got me off my weight plateau, I was exercising and eating well for like 4 mo. with no weight changes at all and I was just getting disgusted, so I was SO glad when that came along and I lost 8 pounds.  But then my body adjusted to that and so that's when I tried the CSD and it worked.  I just realize I've got to mess around with my metabolism, always trying something new, or else my body just adjusts.

I love your adventures between bars, how funny!!!  I hope you're able to do it again since you enjoy it so much (rollerblading, that is!!!).  It is fun, I have a pair also, just haven't done it for atleast 7 years.   I've actually have heard that pole dancing is great exercise.  I'm sure it does bring some good laughs, I would feel a little funny at first, but once you get used to it, hey, go with it.  We get used to working the same muscles, it's good to mix it up, and hey while we're at it, "spice" it up a bit too.  I'm definately going to exercise this time around.  My kids are doing good, so I'll hit the gym more often.

My kids are distracting me so I should go.  Post soon, ok.  Talk later.

Hope everyone else is doing well out there.  Let us know how everyone is doing.  We all need all the support we can get.

Take care all.  Talk soon.

Re: 4th May start! - (Round 2 for 16th April CSD'ers!!)

Hiya Barb!!

Yey!!!!!! Well done, that's fantastic news that you are already back to your finishing weight from the last stint of CSD, so by the end of the week when a few more pounds have shifted you will feel sooooo fantastic - I'm really pleased for you - you're body is going to be banishing 'new pounds' & not any that have crept back on .... excellent!! smiley-clapping

My day is going ok so far except I've not really eaten too much - I didn't manage the pototo at breakfast - I got up a little late & had to dash straight out - I returned home & had soup at lunch, but that's it & I'm now busy painting - I have my friend coming over very soon too & she said she's bringing chocolate & cherry diet coke ... both of which I love, but I WILL stay strong - I'll tell her I've just eaten & I have a huge bottle of ice cold water that I have ready at the kitchen table for when she's here so I can say I already had a drink - I've not told her I'm doing the CSD as she really will try her hardest to tempt me to stray, I know what she's like!!!!

Anyway, hang in there with the veggies, I think today is such a hard day, but we have the potato to look forward to tonight!!!!!!

Speak soon!

I will be thinking of you over the next couple of hours.  Stay strong Kerry.  I know you can, you've done it before.  Sometimes just staying busy is the best thing to do, keeps your mind occupied, ya know.  Keep up the good work, your doing so well!!!  I hope she doesn't tempt you too much, just politely say, "no thanks".  Have some carrots or some type of veggie handy just in case.  Let me know how it goes.  Yes, I'm looking forward to my baked potato tonight also.  Take care.  Barb

Re: 4th May start! - (Round 2 for 16th April CSD'ers!!)

Hiya Barb!!

Well it went fine, so I was pleased - it wasn't too hard really because the house was quite chaotic ... my daughter & her friend kept coming & going in & out the house, so we were fairly busy with them - I kept away from the chocolate, jelly sweets & fizzy drinks she brought over & I kept my bottle of water at hand at all times - I drank the whole 1.5 litres in the few hours she was here! At least it helped stop me reach for anything else!!!!

So, how are you feeling?! Have you had your potato yet?! Mine was fantastic!!!! Had it with a big helping of salad - I actually managed 3 as they were only smallish potatoes, I'm stuffed now, so not sure if I will manage any soup later, which then means I've only had one bowl again today ... not going too well, it's not even that I'm bored of the taste, I've just been really busy or too full ... I MUST force myself to have lots tomorrow as I know I really should be having much more of it!!!!

My daughter is having her friend sleep over tonight so that will keep me busy, I'm fine with anything they choose to do - except baking - I hope they don't ask me if they can cook, I don't think I can cope with the kitchen smelling of yummy food for the night as I have to do a bit of ironing tonight in the room which joins the kitchen, so that would be hell .... I must say NO! if they ask me if they can bake ..... be strong Kerry!!!!! smiley-biggrin

Well, I'll be glad to have fruit tomorrow - I don't have a huge amount in, so I think I will have to head to the shops to get some nice stuff - I figure this diet is hard enough without then just restricting my fruit intake to what I have in stock in the house & making do - I will go out especially to get all the fruit I love, that's my treat!

Anyway hun, I better get off and see what my little pest is up to & start on my big pile of ironing (oh what an exciting Saturday night I'm going to have!!)

I'll check in with you in the morning - let me know what sort of a day you've had!

Speak soon!

Re: 4th May start! - (Round 2 for 16th April CSD'ers!!)

Hi there Rottingoak!

Great to hear from you! Yes, please do keep posting on this thread - the more support we have & can give to each other the better!!!!!

I have to say your willpower is good ... finishing the CSD today & then taking the plunge onto another plan tomorrow - good on you!!! smiley-clapping

So, how have you found your week of the CSD??! Had you done it before or was this the first time?!

I do find it tough at times to stay on track & I do crave the naughty things, but I keep telling myself it's only a week & it is gonna be worth it, plus the support on here is great!! Barb & the others are always here to get me through & keep me really motivated, so I am really happy we have these boards!

The hax Planch sounds interesting - I'll have to have a look at Charito's post about it - like Barb says, it's great to try different things to mix up the dieting so your metabolism doesn't get used to just one plan - it might be worth me considering for after this week's CSD - I really find I need some form of planned eating to stay anywhere close to being healthy on a daily basis - otherwise I tend to stray into the naughty stuff ... I have a sweet tooth you see!!!

Are you close to your target weight or do you have a bit of a way to go yet? Anyway, must go .... do let us know what the final weigh in is after your final weigh in when you finish the CSD - good luck, I hope you've lost an amount you are happy with!!!

Myself & Barb are on the board each day posting to each other so do check in for a 'gossip' & some motivation tomorrow!!

Speak soon!!

Hey rottingoak,

Welcome!!!  I remember your name from the first time we did this.  I hope you had a good run with the CSD this time, post your success if you can (or want).  Where did you see info. on the HAX PLANCH diet.  I'm just curious to see what it's about.  Point me in the right direction if you can.  I hope you have success with that one also.  I think it's good to switch it up a bit, keeps our bodies guessing.  I seem to lose more that way.  Talk with you soon.

Re: 4th May start! - (Round 2 for 16th April CSD'ers!!)

Hi Kerry,

I'm so glad your day went well with your friend coming over.  Darn those friends that bring us goodies, we still luv em, huh!!!!  I had a temptation today also.  My kids have been begging me to make those quickie chocolate chip cookies and I had a bag so guess what we made today...I just smelled and smelled, I didn't even lick my finger when I pushed them onto the cookie sheet, my willpower was strong huh!!!  I can still hear them calling my name, but I'm ignoring it.  So even if your daughter and friend want to bake just admire their creation from afar and tell them it smells really good.  You can do it.  You've had a great day, just remember that.

It's close to dinner time here so I've got my potatoe baking, I can't WAIT to eat it.  I might just swallow it whole!!!   I had to go back to the store today also, but I'm also ready for day 4, bought milk and fresh bananas.  I've prepared for it, I've got some in the freezer for making yummy smoothies (FYI everyone, NEVER freeze bananas in their skin, yeah I made that mistake and had to cut the skin off, not fun).  Do you eat your salads plain then?  I know they say to eat greens, but I can't bring myself to eat lettuce...then I want the ranch dressing.

Enjoy your ironing, my Saturday night is not much better, we're going to watch another movie.

Oh yeah, about the soup, I know, I'm not eating very much of it either.  I didn't really eat a lot the first time and still lost, so I'm just eating what I can.  I still eat it pureed, the only way I like it know.

Have a great night.  Talk to you tomorrow.

Re: 4th May start! - (Round 2 for 16th April CSD'ers!!)

thanks for letting me join you girls!

This is my first time doing the CSD, my friend told me about this diet and I stumbled in this forum after looking up the recipe and such. I really wanted a quick start and a clean system

I actually enjoyed the diet the first couple of days (I loooove fruits), but now, another bite of that soup will make me throw up. I know exactly what you mean by the cravings, in the beginning I was okay; i'm not so fortunate now -- I'm having big cravings for yoghurt, shrimp (I grew up on seafood), icecream even! I'm really proud of myself because I haven't cheated yet!! smiley-laugh

I lost about 4.5lbs as of day 7, hopefully more lbs will come off when I wake up tomorrow! I'm actually pretty happy, losing some is better than none at all! I have a total of 27lbs I want to get rid of, I started at 132 and will hopefully end at 105. 23 more lbs to go!! I'm only 5 feet so I think that weight would be good. I know, a shortie here smiley-sad

about the HAX PLANCH diet: (I hope charito doesn't mind me posting this)

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y115/chari31/DIETAS%20/DIETAHAXPLANCHencuadro.jpg

Her hubby went on the diet and lost 20lbs but she said he followed it exactly. I'm thinking of substituting coffee with lemon tea, I can't do coffee with no sugar, and I don't think it's all that healthy for the body anyway? I'm not sure. I hope it won't make that big of a difference.

How is the dieting progress coming for you guys so far? Close in reaching your goals? Let me know!!

Re: 4th May start! - (Round 2 for 16th April CSD'ers!!)

ES-thanks so much for getting me the diet info.  That one looks pretty interesting.  I'm anxious to hear how you do with it and then I'll decide more.  It's always fascinating to me how they choose foods for these diets. Some of the days would be doable, others I'm not too sure of.

Great job with your weight loss.  I lost about the same as you the first time I did it, 4 lbs.  That's funny that the three of us are short.  I'm 5'1" and Kerry said she was just a wee bit over 5'1".  I don't think your goal of 105 is unrealistic.  Just listen to your body and don't overdo it.  I'm so thankful I've realized in my adult years the right way to lose weight.  My goal is around 116, I'm saying that because if I lose the same amount as I did before then that's where I'll be at.  I have to assess each goal, because originally my goal was 123 and then it went to 120, well you can see where I'm going.  I guess you just never know until you're actually there.  I'm just trying to get to an ending weight where if I put on a couple of pounds I won't be going crazy and it won't affect me too much, ya know.

This HP diet might be a good thing for you since you're craving yogurt and you might be able to sneak some shrimp in for the fish.  I'm wondering with all the salad eating, is it plain salad.  A few days ago I tried to Google to get more info. on this and I couldn't find anything...I wonder where it came from.

Anxious to hear how you do with it.  Have a great night.  Signing off till morning.  Yeah, I can eat fruit tomorrow.  Take care.

Re: 4th May start! - (Round 2 for 16th April CSD'ers!!)

barb: you're very welcome smiley-smile The diet surprised me a little .. steaks? I'm uncertain about that, I gain a lot of weight by eating any kind of meat.

Yeah, I decided on 105 because last year, I went to the gym for about 40-60 minutes for a few weeks and ended up at 125lbs, I thought there was still a lot of unnecessary fat. lol! I'm thinking (starting Monday) I'll fast walk everyday for about 3 hours (1 1/2 per time) and go swimming for a few hours. My parents have a big swimming pool and gym in their condo and the walk would be a good exercise. Besides, I don't have to deal with a crowded, urinated public swimming pool. smiley-laugh So hopefully I'll lose weight even if eating the steaks backfire.

For salad, I'm thinking of adding soy sauce/vinegar instead, I tried lettuce with soy sauce before, it was unbelievably good! I think it's healthier than salad dressing right?

I tried googling the diet as well, no results for me either. If I understand it correctly, the diet came from charito's doctor, she wanted to go on a diet but needs the protein. I'm a bit scared of all the cholestral from the eggs. (I come from a family of high bad cholestral)

Anyway, I think I'll try this diet for a week and see how it goes.

Oh yumm, fruits. smiley-wub and oh, how much weight have you lost so far?
I'll keep you ladies updated. Stay strong!!

Re: 4th May start! - (Round 2 for 16th April CSD'ers!!)

Good for you for being so dedicated to exercise.  Swimming is such a good one to choose also. That's great that you can use your parents.  I've been exercising steadily since June '06 and my starting weight was 140. I do a vaiety of classes...kickboxing, Zumba, strength training, plus I run of the treadmill.  I know, you'd think exercising that much and consistantly you would just shed the pounds off...I mean people always kept telling me muscle weighs more than fat...but I wanted to see the scale moving.  I did figure out that it was what I was eating.  I'm just someone that has to watch any kind of diary and wheat/flour products.  I've learned that I really have to mix it up with my eating.  I sound like a broken record, but it is a light bulb moment when you finally see the scale moving and you feel a difference, especially when your exercising so hard. I'm at 120 now, so it might not be a lot over almost a years time, but I just couldn't budge for about 4 mo., it was very frustrating.

That's a good idea about the salad and soy sauce, it seems like it would be healthier.  I just love creamy dressings so it's hard to satisfy that.  That makes sense now that I know the diet came from Charito's doctor.  I think I've read before that you can eat 2 eggs a day without being concerned. I really hope the diet works, I'm very interested to hear how you feel about it.

Just try to keep focused and you'll see that 105 in no time.  It's also good to remember if it doesn't work you just try something else.

Talk to you later.

Re: 4th May start! - (Round 2 for 16th April CSD'ers!!)

Good morning Kerry!!!  Just thought I'd leave ya a quick note as I believe you'll be getting up soon, I believe you're into the afternoon hours as I'm just waking up so...I just wanted to say I hope you get off to a great start today.  I've got my pineapple and strawberrys and any other kinds of fruit I can get my hands on waiting for me when I wake.  I did buy some more broccoli, that is one of my favorites.  Anxious to hear from you tomorrow.  Hope your evening went well with the girls and they didn't make it too hard on you, but you've got great willpower!!!  Talk to you tomorrow.

Re: 4th May start! - (Round 2 for 16th April CSD'ers!!)

Okay so with the CSD diet, I lost about 4-4.5lbs, hard to tell with my scales. The HP diet was a bit hard for me this morning: I started feeling faint with only lemon tea. I had to nib on one of the eggs an hour after. I actually seperated the "lunch" meal into three snacks -- egg, egg, spinach. I was on the run and didn't have much time. My butt really hurts from all the walking two days ago, that's good right? haha. I hope tomorrow will be better since I can have a slice of bread.

Barb - I know exactly what you mean by exericising!!! Last summer, I only lost 5lbs exercising..and my legs started bulking up!! I wasn't very happy since I want to lose fat and on top of that I have large legs already! I wasn't losing any fat and just bulking up. smiley-mad2 I read somewhere that it's 50% exercise and 50% diet.. but you really do do a lot of exercise. I hope it works for me
You lost 20lbs, wow!! smiley-clapping It's amazing even if it's 1 year. You're more than half way there. That's awesome.

Do you ladies weigh yourself everyday? I did that on the CSD diet and I realised the only weight I lost was from the fruit days. If I do the CSD again, I might try switching it up and put more fruit days in there.

I just bought my swimming goggles for tomorrow smiley-laugh Keep it up ladies. smiley-laugh

Re: 4th May start! - (Round 2 for 16th April CSD'ers!!)

Hey es-I don't blame you for splitting up the food on days where breakfast is just tea.  That would be hard to do.  Great job on the exercising, sounds like you're really keeping on track with it, good for you!!!  I just keep reminding myself of all the wonderful benefits of exercising, heart healthy, keeps you young, etc., I mean I know I'm not going to stop exercising so I just put up with the effects of it all.  I know what you mean though, I bulk up in certain areas so I try not to weight train too much in those areas.

I laughed to myself when you wrote, "do you weigh yourself everyday"!!!  I'm a bit of a fanatic when it comes to that, I'm almost ashamed to say that I do weigh myself everyday and then some!!!  Sometimes it's the motivation I need for that day.

Keep up the good work, this is day one for you on the HP diet right?  What is the word after spinach on the lunch for Monday?

Have fun swimming.  Talk soon.
