Is the "no bananas" on the first day relatively new? I've done this diet a few times, and the last time I did the CSD was probably like 5-6 months ago, and I have no recollection of "all the fruit you want on the first day (except bananas)." Is this new? I know it didn't ruin my diet, but i'm kind of bummed that I ate a banana thinking it was ok today. Not exactly the way I wanted to start out my diet this week.

no the "no banana" has always been there for day one...the only day it is allowed is on day four
I don't think you ruined your diet so carry on!

One banana won't ruin the whole diet, just keep going like it never happened!
Nancy, how do you start a new thread? I'm technologically challenged!! I only know how to reply to a post but can't figure out how to start one. Sad, I know!
Just wanted to ask if anyone is on Day 3 or thereabouts? Have just had my lunch (bowl of soup and slice of pineapple) and am about to go for another walk. Had my stewed apples for b-fast and carrots for a morning snack, so am doing great so far today!

Yes doing day 3 over works very well. That is how I have been doing it since I first tried this diet over a year ago. I still lose weight (when I don't cheat)

thanks for the help with the bananas thing I am planning on starting tomorowplus I think I might boost the results a little using a green tea supplement what do u guys think?

Hi Choc,
I don't seee any problem with a green tea supplement. I am taking a supplement that has green tea, chromium picolinate and a few others and I really think it is helping to take the edge off my hunger!!
