Started today- 1/4/07

Hi All,

As you can see by my "name" I am a single jewish 28 yr old girl.. living in the jewish THIN community... the ONLY way I will ever find a guy is to be THIN. I am not obeese, just over weight... I am 5ft 6, and my current weight is around 175. I need to lose 25 lbs.. and fast.... lord knows I am not getting any younger... and I want to settle down and start a family.

Anyone interested in sharing stories/support for one another?

I am on day 1- so far all I've eaten was coffee, soup & an apple.

Hi there goodluck to you. I am just starting day 3 so far its not to bad. I was a little gassy(putting it mildly) on day one but i think that is probably due to eating heaps of crap over the holidays. But i am plodding along. I think the secret is to basically eat as much as you can so you don't get hungry. I have noticed waking up yesterday and this morning that i don't feel hungry..........anyone else???

Not sure if I have lost any weight yet, but its only day 3. cheers Tina

Hi all,

Funny you know, i would always hear about this diet. The thought of cabbage soup made me sick, until i bought a magazine today which had an article on the "cabbage soup" diet. So i did a search on the net and found this site.  I am glad i did !!
After reading all the comments, i'm sold. So, i'm proud to let you all know that i will be starting this diet as of tomorrow "YAY" !!smiley-clapping

Re: Started today- 1/4/07

Hi all CSD'ers ~

I started yesterday also (1-4-07).

Day 1 went OK until about 3:30 in the afternoon...I felt like I hadn't eaten anything all day....STARVING!  I also got a terrible headache. I ate more soup & some cantaloupe, but it just wasn't doing the trick.  Went to bed hungry & with a headache last night.

Day 2 (today) Woke up feeling great!  Made a stir fry with onions, squash & tomatoes for breakfast and it was so good I made it again for lunch and added some fresh broccoli and a dash of worchestershire.  I also warmed up a small bowl of soup to go with, but I couldn't eat it all!!!  That's a good sign!...the day isn't over yet, but so far so good!

I weighed myself on the morn. of Day 1 at 174 lbs.  I have decided that I won't weigh again until after Day 7.  I don't want to be disappointed if I'm not losing.  I would like to lose 10lbs., but if I lose at least 6, I'll be happy.  If this diet works for me I plan to go on it once a month & try to eat healthy in between so that I don't re-gain what I lost.  My goal for the year is to lose 40lbs.

Good luck to every1  smiley-hug
