Hey Ms. Brittany- you look awesome! I don't know where you're hiding all this weight you talk about, you must be 6 ft. tall or something, you look great! and only 21? Well scrap what I said about saving money, hell at 21 I didn't have a pot to pee in, I would get my paycheck and blow it in one day, totally lived check to check, and the farthest thing in my mind was ever buying a house! If I had $20 left to my name, I would go down to my local hangout and party it away! Really, really a cute picture and I love your choice of music!

I agree with sally! Dont try to diet in between it will ruin the good you had going! Just watch what you eat if possible. if you HAVE a CHOICE choose the healthier of the foods. If not eat a little bit. Thats my advice. Also you know people that go to parties like that (you are one!) OMG so it is true about hollywood!!LOL! Ive always wanted to go to one. Actually my like great uncle (my grandfathers sisters husbands son i beleive) is in the business he does all the sound for all the award shows(oscars grammys academy awards CMT music awards all that stuff) and for all kinds of concerts(lots of extrememely famous people)! I wish that he was closer to me!! LOL!!! But that side of the family isnt close to my side! how sad for me. Maybe when I get skinny skinny i can go up there get noticed for my voice and be famous! Yea right eh? LOL
The starter wife eh?? I see the commercials for that all the time I WANT TO SEE IT. I hate that they started showing previews for it last months. Then at the end it said May 30th LOL! I hate that!
Nancy, ok I have a solution for you!
make your husbands dinner (only enough for him to eat alone)
Make steamed veggies so you can snack on them while your making his dinner
make your food set the table up really nicely and have a sit down dinner with him
it doesnt matter what you eat and what he eats is different as long as you eat together your fine!
steam a bunch of veggies and share them between yourselves at dinner. Dont crack i am counting on you to be my rock!
i do believe on thing though. you should have taken thurday off like we had spoken about. you still could have watched what you ate just added a few faves in small portions and been fine! do what you said do three days of the CSD which would make your off day on sunday and my off day will be sunday (im doing only two of the three day diet) and then monday start up again. at least that way you wont cheat because you know an "off" day is arriving soon and you can have LITTLE splurges that day.
I am starting on monday for the CSD because im a fool and didnt have time to go to the store for the ingredients!
Offline
I know, I'll be fine, just a passing urge! He really doesn't care one way or another as long as he gets laid regularly! lol!
The thing about the days off though is from now on they need to be on the weekends! You know, be good all week and maybe go out to lunch and enjoy a healthy salad and a glass of wine and be fine and have no guilt!
Hey, btw, he DID finish the ice cream last night! I only bought a pint, and ate 1/2 of it so I talked him into having the rest with blueberries! yea!
Offline

LOL good job for making him eat the icecream!! my husband woulda ate it in like 2.7 seconds flat lol!
and about my ictures on myspace THATS ME AT 180!!!!! Not now. I think i said that on another thread! LOL. anyways Ill look like that again
give me a couple of months!
Anywho time to get ready for work gals. I close the store tonight so Ill be there until 9pm my time then have to wake up and go to work again so Ill only probably be on for a short while tonight!
talk to you all later!

yay! I'm glad I could help twi! you go girl!
and good work getting rid of the ice cream! I left the ben and jerry's unopened at work but I think I'll take it home and let my son eat it. I'm loving the dryer's slow churned light vanilla. it's so good!
I agree with sally and whit, you shoulda taken at least a day off. I think that one day is perfect. I still gotta decide what day to start again. I wish I could get out of this birthday dinner tonight.
maybe I'll just go on a fiber one with honey nut cluster diet!
oh oh oh I got it for saturday here we go!
breakfast: iced NF cappuccino from coffee bean (I'm so addicted as of yesterday)
big bowl of fiber one with honey nut clusters
lunch: big salad with LF dressing and all sorts of yummy stuff
dinner: broccoli and 97% fat free hebrew nationals 1/4 to a 1/2 cup of the dryer's light
and two 100 cal snacks, either fruit or crackers or something maybe even a vodka soda
I think it really helps to have something to follow on our days off. not super strict but an idea.
then sunday is peanut head's birthday party....the kids are getting pizzas, grapes, cheese cubes, berries and fries. adults have a fruit and cheese platter and these yummy breadstick turkey and provolone sandwiches, and salad. and of course cake. there is no mayo on the sandwiches so I can have a couple (they are uber small), a bunch of salad and a small piece of cake. dinner will have to be something somewhat healthy or maybe just leftovers from the party? and i guess monday I can start the CSD again...
whit, have a good day at work! I need to check out your pics!

Geeze, I don't know you can do it with all the "kid" food around! I commend you!
I was thinking that realy MONDAYS are the best day to start on anything. Cuz Mondays suck anyway so we may as well start the "D" word again! I think days 1-3 are the best on CSD, and think I could do those days over and over, well for 4 days and have the wkend off maybe?
Here I am looking at the HG website for low cal drink recipes right now! God I am weak!
Sounds like you could start a new diet Om- the "Fiber 1-H. cluster" specail! Haven't tried the "Clusters", I actually like the "Twigs" well enough!
So I burnt the roof of my mouth on that ******* Soup!! What am I going to do now?
Oh well, grin and bear it!
Peace out guys!
Offline
the breadstick sandwiches are so good I won't feel too deprived plus I'll eat some of the cheese platter so I won't be all that good!
if you drink just stick with vodka soda! I'm a belvedere/grey goose kinda girl myself but if I want some flavor stoli blueberry is HELLA good and you can throw some fresh blueberries into it!
cracks me up that you like the twigs! I can't stand the twigs! if you like the twigs you will LOVE this. i can't believe how much fiber it has and how yummy it is! I'm actually craving it right now but I had a half of a bagel for breakfast so I can't. maybe as an afternoon snack? damn I really really really don't want to go to this dinner tonight
I just want to stay home.
I used to always start diets on mondays too but sometimes I think it's easier to be at home and not have to deal with the work pressure. everyone always gets all up in my business when I diet because I'm "so skinny"
they just don't get it, just because I'm skinny to them doesn't mean I'm skinny to me. I know I'm not fat, but if I can't wear most of my wardrobe I need to lose some weight!

So here I am, answering my own post again... means I've too much time on my hands! but, what if I still just eat veggies and soup all day and night but have a couple glasses of wine? With Weight Watchers I could drink the whole bottle and still be under my daily points as long as I ate only veggies!
Just a thought! My sister emailed about some great wine she found at Trader Joes, and was enticing me!
Maybe I'll go get a pedicure! Yea, that's the ticket!
Offline
welllllll I dunno. part of me thinks don't do it but another part of me thinks that you didn't get a break sooooo. since you are already switching up the CSD a bit with the no nanas, having caffeine/soy milk, and maybe no meat why not just count WW points for a few days or something? that way you can drink your wine and eat your soup and veggies and fruit and even throw a hebrew national 97% ff hot dog or something?
Offline
Twilight I hadn't read your post when I posted last time we musy have both been posting at the same time and my post was directed at Omgirlie last time. Mind you I do think you need a break seriously you have gone from CSD to 3DD to CSD without more than a couple of days odd break it is better to have a break and then set your next start day even if it is just a couple of days. I'm officially am giving you permission to have a drink and restart the CSD on Monday you have done great so far so bl***** celebrate!!!
Offline
Thank You Sally! I am not worthy!
I'm going to stick to veggies today, but (and again a big BUTT-mine) and have a drink or two. I'm not an alchy really, but I just got back from the store and bought some groceries and "Pomegranet Vodka" was on sale, and I LOVE a sale! I got a small bottle of that and Sprite Zero, sugarfree lemonade and I have club soda here, so I will no doubt try it! I also just got done making my husbands favorite "low point" dessert and it was all over my hands and spoon and pan and bowl and I didn't taste a drop! It is so 'normal' to lick your fingers when baking or somthing isn't it?
So I bought lots of fresh asparagus for dinner and will route around in the freezer to see if I can pull some meat out for him and if not, he will eat a "Smart Ones" Frozen dinner!
I think I will start "anew" on Monday, though I don't want to leave my Mon. may 17th crew by the wayside! I may continue doing it though with some tweaks.. Like no potato tonight and a drink instead. and no fruit tomorrow but wine instead, how does that sound? Like I have a big drinking problem, doesn't it?!
I am a very bad influence to this twhits post! I don't really even belong hrere today because I'm supposed to be on the 7 day "hard core", but it really is easier to be on the same schedule with you guys that I started with, we are all on about the same level of CRAZY!!
TTFN! (ta ta for now)

oh thanks sally! I thought your post was directed at twilight too! I even went back and reread her post looking for her "events"! hee hee! okay I'll wait till at least monday before getting on something serious. hey wasn't there someone who was suppoosed to post a diet similar to our 3dd? I remember seeing that I just don't know where.
twilight you are cracking me up! next time try the stoli blueberry will you?
okay so I'm really thinking that I might make my own diet up. why not? esp. if I figure all the calorie/fat stuff out before.
omg I am mental. mental. MENTAL!

okay so far I've had the 1/2 of a bagel with LF cream cheese and a diet dr. pepper, 2 97% FF hebrew national hot dogs, 1 2% polly o string cheese, 4 saltines, a smidge of avocado, a large iced NF cappuccino and a fiber one granola bar....not too shabby!
Offline
You are doing great! and what's the recipe for those breadstick things? Sounds interesting! hey O- you love your bread don't you? Don't you just love when thy give you warm bread sticks and seasoned olive oil on a plate at a restaurant? So yummy! and a home it wouldn't taste as good. However I make a MEAN "Avocado, basil, EVOO topped bruscetta on special occasions that is to DIE for, and super simple!
So anyway my peeps....I've figured out that maybe it's not the FOOD that I'm missing but the COOKING! I've been cooking stuff all day and am totally happy, and not tasted a bite, nor do I plan on it!
I will make a huge salad with grilled portabellas and asparagus for MY dinner tonight, but have a bunch of other stuff prepared for the old man!
I made him this crazy thing I made up that he loves for a treat. You know "Rice Krispie Treats", well they are one of the 'better' desserts you can have because they have no fat, but still have sugar, but I make them with Raisen Bran instead of R.K. and the added fiber and lower calorie count makes them not too bad for you when you need a sweet fix. He especially likes them because when he takes them to work no one else will eat them because they think it's gross, so there's more for him. and lots of fiber baby!

Ok my final blog for yesterday well I had a drink last night and fell asleep so I didn't get back on here and report!
1 bowl of organic bran flakes with skimmed milk
2 cups of cappuccino
1 fruit [i dunno what it was but it was small and black and tasted like lychee]
1 bite size scotch egg
5 crackers
1 bowl of fresh corriander, carrot and onion soup
1 slice of bread
Then it goes down hill
1 bag of crisps [I know they're bad but I like them!]
3 small balls of stuffing [hubby and family were having a roast dinner so I nicked them]
Fortunately the red wine wasn't very nice so I only had 2 glasses.
1 french coffee [brandy coffee and cream floating on the top mmmmm!]
Yes I remember that Omgirlie re the other 3DD but I can't remember where but I am sure I've never seen it posted since anyway. I think I may start again on Monday but I don't know what one yet to do. I'm tempted by the 3DD again as that is easier when I am at work which I am next week! On the other hand 4 days CSD is tempting me too!
Especially as twilight has worked out what alcohol we are allowed on each day lol!
wine day 1 [grapes]
vodka day 2 [potato]
wine day 3 [grapes]
day 4? [what alcohol comes from bananas?]

Ok so i declare today was another "off" day I didnt do to bad considering i didnt have ANY diet foods around (they all rotted).
Breakfast (i was to full to eat)
Lunch
1 oz cheese 6 saltines
snack
1/4 lb of mixed fruit (bought it from the store)
snack
4inch banana
dinner
1/2 turkey sandwhich (made of 8 grain bread mustard lettuce tomato onion and turkey)
desert
1 16 ounce glass of nf milk with hersheys syrup (suprisingly 0 g of fat)
so that was my day.
My hubby went out and got the things i needed for the soup and made it for me while i was at work! What a nice guy. but now he isnt happy with me because i couldnt lift the damn soup by myself!! Grrr that makes me angry (because i have a bad shoulder) what a sweet asshole! lOL
anyways I hope everyone did ok today
and sally what is with the alcohol and crisps??? lol (what are these crisps you talk so frequently about?? chips??)
Offline
Wow Brittany you did very well yesterday!!!!
You do get crisps there they come in a light packet they are like thin sliced then fried potato. What do you call them then?

Okay, it was me that mentioned the other three day diet!
Sorry I forgot to post it before. The thing with this one is you repeat the same thing for all three days. Which might be boring to some, but as I said before I do much better when things are super structured--I don't want to count calories or points I just want to be told like a child exactly what I should be eating! The key to this diet is specific metabolism boosting foods/spices that are incorporated into every meal.
So here it is. They claim you can lose up to 7 pounds in three days. One girl lost five, one six, and one seven.
Upon Rising:
8 ounces water mixed with 2 tsp of lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
Breakfast:
1 whole egg plus 3 egg whites cooked in 1/2 tsp extra virgin coconut oil and topped with 2 TBS spicy salsa
3/4 cup steel-cut oats topped with 1/2 tsp maple syrup and a dash cinnamon
Snack:
one 8 ounce skim latte or 8 ounces of warmed skim milk with a dash of cinnamon
1 small apple
Lunch:
3 cups mixed salad (greens, bell peppers, cucumber, and tomato)
Top with 3 ounces of chicken breast (no skin) or tuna, 1/2 tsp olive oil, apple cider vinegar and seasonings to taste
Snack:
8 ounces of Spicy V8 juice or low sodium tomato juice with 3 shakes Tabasco with one stalk of celery
(Side note--are they trying to make us think we are getting a bloody mary or something???)
Predinner:
8 ounces of water mixed with 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
Dinner:
4 ounces of salmon or tuna with 1 TBS spice rub
2 cups of broccoli or green beans with 1/2 tsp coconut oil
1/2 cup brown rice or one small sweet potato
Snack:
6 almonds or walnut halves
So that's it. It also says you should drink at least 8 glasses of water or green tea daily. And it says if you want to do it for more than three days in a row you should take a multi vitamin with it and after day three you should add 200 "Healthy" calories of your choice throughout the day.
Here is the list of "metabolism boosting foods". Even if you don't do this diet specifically, maybe some of these foods could be incorporated into other plans to boost things along...
Eggs, salsa, coffee, steel-cut oats, coconut oil, cinnamon, apple cider vinegar, salmon, tuna, nuts.
I don't get the coffee part because it isn't mentioned anywhere in the actual plan? But I do love my coffee so I won't complain!
Sounds like you are all doing well on your "off days" Keep up the good work!

That sounds good except for all the egg whites cos I hate them mmmmmmm I suppose there maybe a way of cooking them that I haven't discovered yet lol! Thanks for that. I am just like you I need something to follow and direct me or I just flounder. Do you think I could do it without the egg whites the thpught of them on their own makes me feel sick! I can just about manage an egg white with the yoke but I really only like the yoke.
What is the weight loss prediction on this one then?
Offline
Whitnnie and Sal, Morning ladies- I just thought I would log in to confirm that:
In the States ( and possibly Canada) you call them potato chips whereas in England and Ireland we call them crisps!!......ALSO
What we call chips, you call french fries!!
Am just tucking into lunch - huge bowl of Haagen Dazs Pralines and Cream Ice cream!! I felt like it , I have done well up till now and I am going to enjoy it without guilt!!( an hour and a half on the treadmill should just about burn it off:blush:)
Does anyone have anything to say about it!!!!
Have a great day all!!!

I say you deserve it Sinead we have to have our 'well done to us' treats every now and again or we would go insane! In fact I'm jealous and off diet at the moment and WISH I had some haagan Daz cookies and cream icecream as that is my favourite. I may even get off my fat butt when hubby has gone to work and get some myself! We could invent the Haagen Daz icecream diet Sinead!!
Thanks also for the explanation on crisps, chips etc.
Now Mandy what are steel cut oats? And we can't get spicy V8 in the UK well I can't find it! I can get the normal one though what are the ingredients I need to add to make it the same as the spicy one?
Offline
Sally
Maybe you could do two whole eggs instead of all of the whites? And maybe the salsa would help disguise the taste of the whites anyways? I really don't know, it's worth experimenting!
I'm not realy sure what steel cut oats are, I was going to investigate when I go get groceries. I think it is probably some kind of oatmeal or at least maybe in the general area of oatmeal in the store? Anyone else know the answer to that?
As for the v-8, I think you could probably just get the regular kind and then spice it up with Tobasco or Red Hot (Do you have that kind of stuff in the UK?)
As far as predictions, I'm not sure. It said in the article you could lose up to 7 pounds in the three days. The three girls that they interviewed lost 5, 6, and 7 and they started out at all different weights. Even if you lose a couple in the three days I think it is worth it cause it seems to give you a TON of food every day. (Just no ice cream
)
Sinead, good for you , have your ice cream! You deserve it and you will feel better about starting again knowing you had your treat! I always used to diet Monday through Saturday and then give myself Sunday for WHATEVER I wanted, no exceptions, no guilt, no rules! And I always lost like that. I think it's good for the metabolism!
Hey, we need to find a diet that incorporates jell-o shots! I love them! You can make them with sugar free jell-o.....how many points would that be?
Okay, I'm off. Have a good weekend girls!
